A film on Grief & Eros (FRAUD)
. I have filmed and edited this piece, and was kicked out of the project as it was being completed, without any proper relational process. My image as a latin filmmaker was tokenized for funding purposes. If you want to know more, ask me personally. It's a rich story. This film was supposed to be "an offering of radical permission and full body love for you and our collective wellbeing, weaving the loving legacy of Sobonfu Somé’s grief ritual from Burkina Faso with decolonizing innovations in dance and eros. It centers intimacy between luscious vibrant bodies across race and gender experiences who are willing to tremble open, connect, and heal. It calls us home to our hearts, to create more relational resilience, joy, awe, and pleasure in our liberation movements".
